Cold Air Intake
 

Ok I have a cold air intake kit for an 88 civic 1.5L hatch exactly the same as the picture below but I can not for the world of me understand how to install it. I know the short tube is supposed to route from where the air box was to the longer to and on to the intake but I can't figure out how. Does anyone know how or have a copy of some instructions they can photo copy and post to give me some idea? Thanks

by the looks of it......i think you have it backwards......the longer one looks like it should be coming from the air intake cause it's got the fitting for the line to the the head.....

Yeah the big one goes from the actual intake manifold around by the battery and than connects to the little one which goes down and locates the filter where the old air box used to be just behind the bumper?? Or am I getting this wrong?

yeah that sounds right to me....maybe you just mixed them up in the first post (short and long). i know that some intakes didn't fit dx's cause of the battery placement.....could that be the issue? either way......good luck!
