Cold Air Intace Installation 2000 Civic SIR

Hey guys. I have a problem with my cold air intake for the civic sir 2000. I bought car without any intake so it waas kind a problem for me to install aftermarket intake After i installed metal pipe i’ve connected rubber pipe what came with cold air intake to the engine. and now i have one extra pipe coming from the engine and one hole in intake, but i can not connect em together.
if somebody have done it before and you can send me some pics it will be very nice.
thnx.

its very straight forward, but its very hard to understand what youre asking. first of all u should have never bought a car with no intake on it to begin with. that would have been your first clue to stay away :S

The blue part is more or less correct. There is another smaller metal tube attached to the bigger black one, where is it going? The longer black piece is the crankcase vent and the smaller one is the coolent by-pass.

for the love of tom cruize don't touch that screw!! it's located on the throttle body, but it's covered with a plug cuz it's NOT meant to be fuct with. idle is electronically controlled, so if you got idle problems, diagnose them first. the idle control screw is only meant to be used when replacing the throttle body with a brand new one from Honda.

It does look correct to me, its just messy thats all. I would removed the metal piece shown in red and just connect the blue tube directly to the valve cover. I would then use another piece of the black hose to connect the collent by-pass from the cylinder head to the throttle body.

When i connect it straight to the engine without black metal pipe my engine makes weird noise. So that’s what i got. Is it correct?
thnx
