good price eh...get ready to spend at least 1000 bucks on a basic set of coilovers

quality coilover kits will run you anywhere from 1500-2500, and more

do it right the first time, dont be cheap when doing suspension

you can check out the classifieds as well, there are lots of springs/shocks being sold..so not coilovers, but you can go with Tokico springs + shocks etc...or Neuspeed + Kyb AGX or something like that, you get the drift

It'll cost you less that way...
but to each his own
Good Luck

you should learn abit about coilovers.. "I need coilovers so that in the winter i can raise the car." right off the bat tells me coilovers arnt for you.

I highly recomend you go with a mild drop progressive spring like a prokit or H&R sports. Coilovers wernt desigened to use as a rais for winter solution. THey were desigened ro total controll over suspension setup for experienced tuners.

And dont even think about putting any new springs or coils on your stock struts, they will **** oil within months or weeks, and the ride will be crap, you will bounce and bottem out everywhere.

expect to spend over 800$ for a proper setup. Theres no cheap way around it. If you want you can do a TCC search and see the countless threads of people makeing the same mistakes.

i know what coilovers do...and i know lowering springs can have the same effect...except i want a full set...i dont want sleeves

im educated about cars, maybe my wording was a bit off but i know what im talking about dont worry

point being...i priced them out and they are expensive...my best bet would be to get lowering springs on some KONI struts...

you could go with the koni yellow's, they might have the perch adjustments for your year civic.. I can't remember now, but with that you can raise/lower the car about 1/2 inch.. not very much, but at least it's a start.. but the thing with that is you have to take the springs off first etc.. etc.. a lot of work..

get good coil overs, like tein, or you can go Skunk2 and get some decent shocks

wise decision.

If you want to do the allseason driving, get a set of new strut mounts (the hats) and build a whole seaperate setup with the konis and lowering springs. That way you can toss your old spring strut setup back on the car for winter without compressing springs and dissassembling eveything... It literly takes 1 hour to swap it all out by yourself, without the bench work dissasembly.

yah thats my ride , thanks man

the grill is molded into the bumper (wings west tuner type II) theres a do it yourself writeup in the exterior forum to make one like it out of a stock grille. Or you can just buy them, they fit in a stock bumper

Oh PS check out the group buy fourm, theres lots of sweet deals on spring/ shock combos.

And if you are 100% sure you want a coiloversetup (not a good idea IMO), and learn how to set it up, corner weight, align, ect.. then PM astroboy, he can get whatever u want.

struts and shocks are the same thing essentally a strut is a shock with a perch to mount a spring on...

^^that is ractive quality

skunk 2 springs are a race spring and will be real low and stiff...koni yellows will be needed to control that high a spring rate adn drop....
