Question Coilover question

Just wondering about a set of Toucan euro-coilovers. They seem to have two different sets of springs on each coil. Why is that???
Is it for a softer ride???

One is the "main" sprinf, the thicker normal looking one....and the smaller thinner one is the "helper" sping....helps withthe ride quality.

There are 2 sets because it has to do with spring rating. You should find out what the spring rates are. 5 and 7 are most common for street and it gives comfort at the same time. The front 2 springs are stiffer than the back.
