Code 9 - CYP Sensor

I was crusing along tonight and my ecu throws a code.
It's a CYP sensor. I automatically noticed a change in performance, the car has alot more lag and is kinda sluggish. VTEC still works but has no punch anymore.
Can I drive on this distributor for a couple days or could it fail on me at any point? I'm converting to OBD1 so there's no sense in me fixing this OBD0 dizzy...

Check your wiring - those sensors usually don't just "fail".
