i have a friend of mine who's 5th gen civic was throwing him a code 41 which is o2 sensor .. so he replaced it and now he's getting a code 43 - Fuel Supply System defective or malfunctioning fuel supply system .... he had pulled the plugs and noticed a chalk like powder on them .. i thought it was cheap gas, maybe too much sulphor or something ... could his injectors be faulty or should we be looking for a bad electrical connection somewhere?? has this ever happened to anyone?

was the white a POWDER or was it white white like hard white. cuz hard white generally indicates pretty severe detonation I think??

fuel injectors don't give codes BTW... so 43 is related to your EVAP system in some way and id NOT related to the other problem you seem to have with your combustion.

I think the OBD1 can only check the purge solenoid and nothing else. I dunno, it's all in the Helms manual, there is a whole troubleshooting chart about it. Helms are worth their weight on gold.
