clutch question

hi, i m wondering whats the diff between the stock clutch n some brand name stage II clutch.

basically its how the clutch engages... comparing the two a stage two clutch would have a lot more holding force then a stock one... so if your engine is making 200hp or something then its a good call... but if your engine is stock all you'd really gain is a heavy clutch petal

Performance clutch kits typically have discs lined with high friction material, and heavier pressure plates and springs. The clutch's holding capacity is increased, which means that it can handle more power, and perhaps have an extended life at the track.
