Clutch Problem

Clutch Problem
i;m having some annoying clutch problems..almost like the pressure plate is sticking to the flywheel, even when the clutch pedal is depressed.. i adjusted the cable, and clutch play, but sometimes the car just will not go in to gear. i live in north bay so we get some cold snaps...could moisture possibly be on the flywheel or pressure plate and freezes?

or toasted clutch
sounds like clutch disengagment issue
pull back the boot and make sure there is clutch fork movement

also, try bleeding your clutch line and replacing it with a new fluid.
this will help clean the line out with any air or clog that you might have in there.
g'd luck!

Yeah bleed your mechanically clutch line.
And yeah..
Replace the release bearing because it won't go into gear.
BOTH great recommendations.

If the car is off and you stick it in first with the clutch down and start the car...does the car move? Like you never had the clutch down? Like it's sticking and not realesing?
Is this an old clutch? new clutch?
Do you shift hard...a lot...sometimes
