Clutch NEED ****URGENT****help FREE STUFF

Does anyone know how much it will cost me to throw in a friction plate into my d series clutch assembly?

just need price for labour.

know any places.

what can i give away this time for free.

gave my headers away...my hi flowcat...

i asked honda that same question for my car and they told me it was 8-9 hours labour... what a joke... i could personally do it maybe 4 hours taking my time

Buddah has a shop, Altech.... SW20MR2 knows someone with a shop....

Generally figure about $3-400 labour or so.

hang the motor, drop 1/2 of the sub frame, starter out, lower control arm and axle out, just pop the other..shield, bell housing and slide her back..

on a hoist an hour tops..

but no, i'm retired from that shyt..

flywheel machining is generally recommended but not absolutely necessary. it's all dependant on how badly worn out the old clutch was, was it abused bad enough to actually damage the flywheel, if u don't and it needed it you'll get uneven clutch wear i guess :P just like rotors..

change pads/ machine rotors or u get glazzing and then u be squeeakin all the time.

jsut go buy a shitty cheapo CT rebuilt clutch....cheap...adn get a haynes manual and a torque wrench......

you need to replace the pressure plate aswell...I mean you have if appart might aswell to ensure that your clutch actaully last's more than 10, 000 km's I mean the pressure plate might be cooked....it isnt' much more...just parts not labour seeign how they take it off anyway...get a exedy race organic...look around most shops charge a flat rate for clutch installs
