slave?...............u mean the arm that the clutch cable is on.

Whiplash 24-Aug-2003 04:48 PM

no, the slave cylinder..
the part that activates the fork..

or a bent fork would do it too..

did you machine the flywheel??
is the slave cylinder full still??

well i just went thru all 1200 pages of the manual for the '94 and there's not one iota about a cable activated clutch anywhere in it..
is this for your car??
if not it'd be good to know what kinda car it's in, kinda makes the diag a little easier..
if it is in your car then it woulda been nice to know about the swap right from the beginning..

anyone have any idea!!!!!!!!!!

if shyt's not bent or installed wrong: there should be at least 2 adjustments you can play with..
there should be one where the cable fits into a bracket just before the fork, the other might be at the firewall where the cable comes thru to the engine bay..

possibly there's a third at the pedal which would replace the one in the firewall..

if that doesn't take care of it either something got bent or the cable is stretched or got re-attached incorrectly..
