Clutch Clicking

We I just replaced my clutch (new) a couple of weeks ago (97 si). Everything has been great but yesterday I started to hear and feel the clutch pedal clicking when releasing the clutch pedal. When releasing the clutch really slow there are a multiple number of clicks. It also sounds like its coming from the other side of the firewall. Does anyone have idea what this could be? Gonna take it to my mechanic to have it checked out next week but wanted to try and get some additonal info first.

Thanks

I have the same problem, but it clicks only once right before engaging.

Is it clicking or squeeking, and after pressing the clutch a few times does the noise go away or is it still there?

^^ for you, it's prolly the slave cyl where it's at the tranny.

continuous clicking from a tranny is usually bearings, pilot or release.

as for the guy with one click before engaging, I'd check the engine mounts first.

my 99 EX used to click tight before switching gears but I could only hear it uin the summer with my windows down. I wouldn't be too worried about it.. But after I changed my clutch it went away
