Clutch..
 

So.. I just got my '05 echo hatch 2 weeks ago. I've driven it nicely according to break in period stuff, but in the last few days, the nice smooth clutch pedal feel has given way to a rubbery, sticky gross clutch pedal feel. My one friend told me thats normal probably and it just needs to be worn it.. I don't think so, It was nice and smooth travel before, now its all grainy like and feels like its catching stuff the whole way down or up with a rubberish feel. I took it to the dealership and they tried to lubricate the urithane bushing or whatever where the shaft goes through the firewall, after driving with it all lubbed up, it just feels worse almost. Depressing.. Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

I'm just wondering what peoples clutches felt like in the first few weeks they owned their ( new.. not used ) cars? was the pedal travel nice and smooth the whole time?

weird .. when i was breaking mine it i didn't keep adjusting it and it felt like it was absolutly ****ed.. now its all good.. make sure its properly adjusted
