clunking under load?

The odd time when I'm in a high gear but not going very fast I get a weird clunking coming from the motor, it goes away once the motor revs up abit. But if I'm in a lower gear and give it some gas I don't get the clunking. It almost like a hollow metal hitting metal sound....I'm thinking a/c compressor?
Should I be worried?
It's a B18C...

it sounds like it might just be your motor shaking around. what type of mounts are you using? any inserts?

loading up the motor in a high gear al low rpm torques it up quite a bit, and if you still have a/c or are running the b18c in a small chassis like an ef, then it could very well be worn mount bushings.
