clunking sound

hi guys,
i just have sudden weird clunking (sounds like clock ticking sound) whenever i hit the break (car slowing down).
it doesn't happen so obvious when on the straight road, but it does when going downhill. it sounds like it came from the rear right around the wheel area. i'm thinking the suspension? or is it possible to be the break system?

the rotors being warped should not make a clunking sound, the car will pulse but it shouldnt clunk unless the caliper is loose.

it seems that the sound come every rotation of the wheel. it goes clunk...clunk...clunk... but rarely (or not too loud) on straight. it goes noticeble the most when breaking on downhill (like underground parking).

I've now replaced rotors on two of my friends cars where no pulsation was felt, and there was a consistent clicking noise being heard under LIGHT braking. One set of rotors was a couple of weeks old, the others were original to the car. In both cases the noise went away. Also, the dealership agreed with my assesment (cuz I told the guy to get a second opinion from the dealer cuz the rotors were so new)

What causes brand new rotors to warp so dam quick if they were only 2 weeks old. My brother's EG has been having the same problem and I came to the same assessment as you did B. So I replaced the front rotors w/ brand new OEM ones and Hawk brake pads and the noise seems to be back and it sounds like its coming from the driver side only.
