civic struggling to start
i have a 90 civic si and everytime that i get in it 2 start it i turn the key and i have 2 hold it there for a long time but eventually it always starts. it keeps turning over but it takes a while. i have had problems with it not starting in the past and i changed hte most common reasons y this happens. i changed the main realay also recently i changed the ignitor and coil. the guy who changed this didnt have a timing gun so he said the timing is a little of. could this be y this is happeneng? or is there any other things i should check. thanks

I don't have a crystal ball. Many things could cause your symptoms.
Figure out what you're missing first.... are you missing spark, fuel, or air?? Once you have those things present and your timing is set correctly (cam and ignition timing) then the engine must run no matter what (unless you have a massive compression loss).
