Civic 1999 si problem....
 

I recently bought a 99 civic si model coupe....it has the original engine, i noticed that everytime i would rev the car up to 1500rpm either the car is in park or rollin....the car would hesitate and jerk....

i noticed that it only does that at 1500rpm only!!!

anyone has any idea why????

Did you get the other problem solved? Maybe this one is related.

Try having a mechanic look at it instead of listening to potential answers thrown at you from the internet.

It's probably a mis-fire, who knows. Get someone who knows what they're doing to look at it

get some new spark plugs and change them

if problem still continues try the other areas(wires, dizzy cap and rotor, ignition coil, ignitor..)

look for the cheapest way to solve it first, spark plugs would be the cheapest way to start

or you could diagnos the problem.... why the hell would you just start replacing parts?

welll.. if i buy a used car that stuff is usually replaced as soon as possible unless they were replaced recently by the previous owner.
