Chipped ECU, VERY rich Mixture. Can SAFC correct this?

Hi.

Well I have a very rich condition at about 95% of the time with my B16A2 running off of a chipped ECU with a Mugen Program.

A/F gauge is stuck at max rich about 95% of the time as mentioned above, and black smoke comes out of the tail pipe at mid to wide open throttle and also bad gas milage and the whole nine yards...

Car has I/H/E and thats it. Now my question is, can a SAFC help lean out the mixture, and make the car run nice and smooth? And is it absolutly neccessary to tune it on a dyno, or can I play around with it and get it right somehow?

Is there other solutions besides SAFC (i.e. adjustable FPR)?
And is SAFC benefficial in other ways?

I already did a search and read all 3 pages, but didnt find an answer for my issue. (Monstly Boost applications)

Thanks in advance ;-)

yes it will help, but, a full tune is always the best way to make efficient power. my build made a bit over 200whp fully tuned, and i recently got 300kms on half of a tank of 94. mostly highway though, but, that's better than my old stock motor. lastly, street tuning is time consuming, so getting those afr's won't be fun. there is a place in the US that sells very good maps for cheap. email them your exact set up and ecu code, and they'll burn you a chip for about $45CAD shipped to your door. pm me for more info.

well your already have a p28 you could get a custom burned chip, but yes a afc woudl work but you can't play with the timing only the a/f. options

afc
chip

don't waste your money on a vafc, especially if you already have a chipped p28.
The mugen program is super rich, with stock timing maps. I used the mugen program as a basemap for my car and leaned it out accordingly.
I can street tune your car, PM me for more info.
