i have a 1990 civic Si with a SOHC Zc Motor

lately i have been having problems with my car,

sometimes when im about to start my car the CEL comes on and stays on and my car wont start
so i take a look at the ECU and i cant get a code because the ECU light isnt blinking

does anybody know whats goin on ??

the light should blink. When you get a CEL turn the car off, then turn it to accessory (1 click before the car starts) and the ecu light should be blinking.

try a new ECU.........just so happens I got one for sale. haha.

i noticed my car usually dosent start after i try turning on my car after putting in gas

is the car usually warmed up b4 it wont start or does it only do this when its hot out?? i remember when i had my old 4th gen the solder points on the main relay would separate and cause the fuel pump, ignition etc to not operate.

yes this happens after the cars warmed up if i try to start it again

yeah, change your main relay or take your old one out and re solder it. i did it to mine when it would not start in warm weather and it ended up fixing it

and is it only available at Honda??
