Grrr, I've been trying to figure out the CEL mystery...
Any tips?

I should see something like this:


I know I know... we are told "On the passenger side of your car, under the dash beneath the glove box, you will find a green cover above the kickpanel that houses a blue connector that has two wires."

But instead, I find a LARGE green connector that houses two sets of clips that look like the one above. These are right above the ECU box.

(Maybe I'm looking at the wrong green wire bunch? But I can't see any others around the ecu under there.)

The wire pairs are 1) pink and green, 2)green and blue.

I've tried shorting each pair, but the engine light on the dash doesn't come on after I "turn the key to the IGN position"...

Every time I start the car, the CEL does come on after about 20 second so something is wrong.

I think I haven't found the right wires
Any tips?
