Chassis Lubrication? Shocks shot ??

Hi.

I have couple questions:

1. I haven't done the chassis lubrication for say... 1 year now. Is
this chassis lubrication a big deal?

2. I hear some kindda noise from my rear, passenger side
suspension. It sounds like liquid floating... It goes
like: "Plooogh, plogh, plogh.....
This noise appeares when I do LOW SPEED turns. I
haven't noticed any roughness with the rear suspension. So I
dont know, could this be the shock thats shot?
Car was lowered 1.5" on stock shocks, in conjunction with
205/40/16 tires for a about 2 months...

Thanks in advance for your comments.

take out the spring/shock combo and push down on shock rod, if it has no resistance likely ur shock is dead

What do you mean by chassis lubrication... cuz when Honda says it, they really mean door latches and hinges, and hood/trunk latches and hinges. I have yet to encounter anything UNDER the car that has a greasable bushing installed. Some aftermarket tie rod ends are greasable, but not OEM. I mean, Honda never in their dreams would expect a REGULAR buyer/owner to get UNDER the car and grease something. There are areas where you do grease the bushings WHEN YOU REMOVE THEM, and those are indicated in Helm's manuals.

Well, there are no liquid containers of any kind in my trunk, and the gas inside the gas tank sounds different than this one.

I guess its the shock then....

The chassis lubrication I'm reffering to is the one thats done with a GUN. It seems like Civics don't need that. I thought I ask to make sure.

Well thanks a bunch guys. Know I have to search for SHOX!
