Changing EG steering rack. need detailed info,pics and instructions *please*
 

well i did my swap last summer..and at the time i was in a hurry and decided to try and convert my EG power steering rack to manual...now my rack is phucked.i bought a used EG manual steering rack in good condition and i wanna install it now. I was told that i gotta make sure that the rack is straight or else i'm gonna have a problem with the response of the steering wheel and when i turn it. I tried searching on here and i couldn't find any detailed info on changing an EG steering rack. please submit any sites with detailed info or where i can find the info like in a chilton manual or something. Input from someone who's done this really useful so i know exactly what i'm getting into.i think Nova_Dust did the same thing on his EK recently if i'm not mistaken.

is it a complete subframe? or just its internals?

No J..i'm changing the steering rack,not the subframe..however i might need to drop the subframe to make it easier.
