Change Bushings?
I'm changing my suspension over, and my buddy said when he did, he had to change the bushings on his rears...
his is a 95, and mines a 94, so i'm assuming i'll most likely have to. But what am I looking as far as price and where do i order them? Just any garage? or do i need a performance shop to order them...
thanks

I just did my rear lower LCA bushings a few weeks ago.
Your looking at $20.54 per bushing at the rear (you'll need 2 total) and you can get them from honda. Also, while your at it you'll need the bolt that goes in there..which is something like 2$ each.
Basically this is what you have to do.
if the bolt is seized...try and get alot of leverage to take it off. If it does NOT come off and the head of the bolt pops off...then you have problems :P (like i did)
Basically...my stock shocks were blown to bits anyways, so I took a hacksaw and hacked off the but where its welded tothe shock. This way I could get my LCA right off the car.
Once the LCA is off you have 2 choices. Get a 2 Ton press (or go to a shop so they can help you with thiers). Press the old bushings out and press the new ones in.
if you dont have that option, (like me) you do this:
Take your new bushings and throw them in the freezer(Cold contracts the rubber). Take your old LCA and get a torch and "burn/melt" all the rubber thats currently there. Once the rubber is gone take your trusty saw and save out the bushing "ring" that will be seized to the LCA and saw it enough just before you actually hit the LCA.
Once you have it sawed, take a little chisel and pry the ends of it towards the center of the LCA hole. Then take a socket that is just wide enough for the O ring and a hammer..and smack that bish out of there.
Once its out, take your new bushing and run some nice WD40 into that LCA>..head it up with a minitorch and then hammer that new bushing in there. It will go in with some force.
once its done...put everything together. Also, I suggest using some real grease (white grease is nice for this) to put the strut bolt back in...so in a couple years or whenever you need to take the strut out..it wlll all come out nice and easy.
