certify my car

anyone want to certify my car for me, without looking at it, it is fine, but i dont want to go without my car for a day. I already got a mechanic to tell me what it needed and i replaced the wheels and rubber. Shocks and struts, exhaust, headgasket and timing belt, brakes work fine i just dont want to leave my car with my mechanic cuz i know he goes ripping around in it.

it's a civic, no need to worry too much because i doubt good mechanics get their jollies out of ripping around a 100hp civic when they have much better cars at their disposal. Find a good place and just wait around why they certify the car, it wont take too long.

why would it take a whole day to certify a civic...
go in the morning, sit there and wait till it's done

good luck getting a mechanic to certify a car without seeing it, therby risking his/her license.

Certain friends of family members have been known to do this, but thats close friends, not strangers, so again...good luck.

Just pay the $35 and get a shop to do it, takes max, and I mean max 40 minutes. Book an appointment first thing in the morning and its fast, no wait.

imported_civic_kid24 17-Mar-2006 02:36 PM

best thing to do is make an appointment, that way you won't have to wait for who knows when. n yah it shouldn't take more than 45 mins.

guaranteed hes worried abt not passing it if hes lookin to go this route, we all know it doesnt take that long to get it tested.

imported_hdave 17-Mar-2006 04:50 PM

agree with everyone else

there are lots of legal ghetto cheap fixes if u wanna certify your car. and as far as time, itll take an hour at most

89SIHATCH? 17-Mar-2006 06:49 PM

if you go to the same mechanic that checked it out it'll take no more than a half an hour.

he'll only check out what was replaced.

also not a good thing to be posting that.
