Cel "no One" Can Fix It

i believe that over the span of 6 months no one on this freakin planet can explain to me why my CEL light came on after my intake for my 1996 civic sohc was installed..

someone once told me it had "something" to do with my OBD 1 or 2 computer crap but no one till today gave me an explanation of how to fix this problem permanently.... i still will never find someone coz everyone plays a guessing game.

i'm still looking for mature opinions and not a solution like "arr..color the light with a black marker" and i did get that as an answer....

so please shower me with some smart ideas and comments

and together we will conquer this virus called the "CEL"

thanks guys

usually when someone asks for help naturally i try to help them, i don't have time to call the fbi and do a background check to see if their post is legit or not.

Check the code for your CEL...it may be running lean/rich due to the intake. You can buy a Palm Pilot and connector with a converter, then you can access the ECU on the Palm Pilot and read all the sensor inputs in real time. This way you will be able to track the problem. This is why OBDII was invented..diagnositic abilities How the **** are we supposed to see what's wrong with your car when we can't even see it. Of course we are guessing...we can't see your car!! Anways, you have to know what code you have showing. G' luck.
