cat removal 2000 SiR

2000 SiR coupe...

For those of you who have successfully removed the cat from this car....what do you do with the O2 sensor that is in the center of the stock cat?

Weld a bung on the straight pipe and put it there in the same place? Or is there a way to by-pass it?

Any help or suggestions welcome.

Thanks

No one ever removes their cat.. That's illegal.

You have an OBD2 ECU, unless you convert it to OBD1, I don't think you can bypass it.

But a bung on the test pipe and put the sensor back in. Or get the Omni pipe which has a bung on it already.

As you are aware of it, it is not street legal. Do so at your own risk.
