Car Won't Start: Fuel Pump
The car is a 92 civic EG hatch.
Car was running fine but the next day, the car wouldn't start. I notice that the fuel pump won't prime everytime i turn the ign on. I tested the fuel pump harness and I'm getting 0 VOLTS on each terminal. I've also tested the main relay by borrowing my friends same EG hatch and swapping the relay, his car starts which means its not the main relay. Could this be the ECU? I'm left clueless on where I should start troubleshooting. Does anybody have an idea where I should start looking? I've also checked all the fuses and all seems to be fine. |
Well if your friend has an EG hatch that runs why not just swap ECUs to see if that's it? It will take you 5 minutes.

That would be an idea...... does anybody know where I could
find a wiring diagram for my car? Specifically the ECU....or atleast something I need to solve the problem..... Did I miss anything here? First fuse, then main relay then the pump itself. All are working......just no power on the power pump harness..... |
I think Hanes books have wiring diagrams, i know the big fat shop books do
|
 :bounce: anybody?
