car won't start

I have a 962door coupe civic. non-vtec. this just happened recently. when i put my key in and try to start it. sometimes it wont crank. then when it does, its like its having a hard time but it will always start.

what could be the problem? Could it be my plugs or my battery? Or is it something worst... like my starter perhaps?

maybe your alternator or distrobuier.

if you have a multi-meter check the battery voltage/amps first..
sounds like it might be shot..

it could be the starter getting old... my old starter had like a lot of the gears worn and it wouldn't really start

see i can pretty much say its the battery. when i turn the car off... the lights on the gauges would blink as in not enough power and when i put the key on acc the gauges arent so bright as it would be when the car is running on the alternator instead of the battery. it starts... just sometimes it wont, im gonna try the tune up and changing the battery.
