Car start problem

Hey guys hoping for some help

My civic is giving trouble starting - almost every morning for the past month (battery is good, alternator replaced last year)
what happens is I hear a click noise when i start the car... if I pop the clutch while I try to start, it turns fine and I'm off - it just seems its taking more effort as it gets colder.. also the car starts fine later in the day when I got to lunch from work...

any suggestions before I go to a mechanic (I would rather not get scammed into replacing a starter motor, if it could be something less expensive)

thanks

take your car to part source and get them to do a charging system test. It will tell you if its the battery, alternator or starter. And its FREE.

you may also go to Canadian Tire and they also test for free.

Part Source is owned by CT

i refuse to tell anyone to go to CT for service, even if its free.
