car shakes at idle sometimes. HELP!

My gf has a 92 civic eg hb automatic. We just put in the motor. It is a D15b motor from Japan. This is the v-tec e engine. Before the car was shaking even more. It didn't shift properly. Now it shifts a lot better because the distributor was wrong. I put in a D16y8 distributor and it got a lot better. I was wondering why the car shakes at D sometimes at the lights and also reverse. It doesn't do it all the time. Just like 3/10 times it will happen. The idle drops to like 400rpm in D or in R. Most of the time it idles fine like 900-1000. In P no problem at all. Can someone tell me what could be the problem. I don't think it could be a wrong distributor again. I am using a p28 ecu. Before the car had a D16z6 engine. So i use the same ecu. They were both automatic. Any suggestions. I don't think a lot of u ppl can answer this question, but could help if any1 knows. Thanx. Appreciated.

Yes it shakes like it is going to stall but i know it won't stall. What do u mean does the car shakes when the car is off? U mean when i start it back up after? This distributor i dunno if it's the correct 1. I use my dad's 1.6EL and it ran better. I use the d16z6 distributor and it didn't ran that good and tranny shifts bad. So what Distributor or ecu i should use for the car? This is a v-tec e )economy) engine from Japan. I just want it to run perfectly because my gf is driving the car and not me. Any help will be appreciated thanx.

well, you are running a computer program for a 1.6l on a 1.5l engine i don't know if it makes a difference, but i am sure the proper ecu program wouldn't hurt... did you switch the tranny as well?

Timing + base Idle adjustment probably needs to be done as well.

no i didn't switch the tranny. I dunno which ecu to use because my engine is from Japan. Any 1 knows what ecu it is for a d15b i think. It is a v-tec e (economy). I need to check my timing tomorrow. I will use a timing gun tomorrow to see if it helps because i am so busy i didn't have time to do it today.
