Car misfire. Engine light on.

I have a 97 acura 1.6EL automatic. The car has like random misfires, and also misfiring #1,2, and 3. Never 4. I've change basically everything now.
New distributor with new caps and rotors, wires were like a couple months old, plugs were just put in like 5 min ago, timing belt changed also to see if the belt has jumped a tooth but it hasn't and it has been aligned properly.

So now i dunno what to say to the car. U can feel the car misfiring at idle. Like it shakes and u can feel it. When u are cruising it is fine and u get pickup also.

I brought a PCV valve and a fuel filter too. I'm sure the PCV valve works. The fuel filter i guess i will changet that also but i doubt that is the problem. So any1 know what else could be the problem. Maybe the injectors are bad? But how can it be all 3 of them that are bad though. Possibly 1 or 2 but like all 3 of them and random misfire.

I went through 3 mechanic shops already. 2 shops told me to change the distributor. I did. 1 shop at the end told me i needed tuneup but i already change basically everything except the plugs. Now i change the plugs and it made no diff.

I need a shop that can find the problem for me.

test the following in the order given:

1. IAC Valve
2. MAP sensor
3. Fuel Pressure
4. crankshaft position sensor.

check to make sure your injectors are opening by listening to them with a stethoscope.

did this all happen right after? like you did everything and it was buggered.??

check to see the firing order is correct (with the wires) it is a common mistake for people to mis-place a wire with another.

also see that they are pressd on all the way on the dizzy and the plugs.

Yes, all the wires are in place correctly. If it isn't it will shake and misfire like no tomorrow and it wun have pickup and wun run properly. I change the fuel filter tonight and see what happens. Then tomorrow i will check the injectors.

DID YOU TRY REPLACING THE O2 SENSORS. IF THEY ARE GONE BAD THEY WILL CAUSE THE CAR TO RUN BAD, EsP AT IDLE.

edit: also check that you dont have a vacuum leak anywhere. If a hose fell off somewhere it could cause a rough idle. Is it especially bad at idle? And when its a bit higher rpm it drives ok?

If the 02 sensor is no good. It would tell the ECM/PCM that the o2 is running too lean or too rich and the sensor is faulty. It is like random misfire, #1,2, and 3.

When u rev the engine (rpm) higher, u dun feel the misfire that much, but u can still feel a little bit, but not like shaky. At idle u can feel the car shakes a little bit.

There can only be 2 things, either the injectors are bad or there is a bent valve. If it;s a bent valve. ****.

No vacuum leak. Checked already.

Now i get this code.
DTC P1399 Wheel Speed Sensor 2 - G - Sensor Circuit Intermittent

What does that mean? I guess that is a good sign because i never got this code before. All the codes i get before was like misfiring #1,2 and 3 and random or multiple misfire. I only feel a little bit of misfire at idle. I don't get how does misfire relate to my wheel sensor.

Any help will be appreciated. I changed new spark plug too with NGK platnium.

It is un-related to your mis-fire

Anyways, since you changed the ignition system your problem is most likely in your injection system. Without having the right tools it can be hard to test sensors, injectors, fpr, etc. If you are around Oakville I can give it a quick over-view.

But personally, I'd take it to Honda if you don't want to keep on messing around with it.
