hey guys i got a prob, when i start off in first or am sjut going down the rd my car bogs out, so i let off the throttle and then get bakc on it and its fine, any ideas?...it wa son e so i was thinkin k maybe its out of gas but it wouldnt bog would it?...my battery drained the other night so could it possibly have somethign to do with maybe my battery aint fully charged yet.....its weird it msotly does it in first gear and when u letoff then get back on it its fine till it decides to act upagain, im gonna check my battery terminals cuzz maybe i got a bad connection or something, my car also needs a new o2 sensor i think but i dont think that could b the prob, its a sohc zc btw that needs a new headgasket i think cuzz shes leakin slowly

i filled it with gas and now its running fine, guess thats all it was, but thats weird still,

either the sock in the tank that acts as a filter is really dirty, or your fuel pump is on it's way out.

how about clogged fuel filter? this happens to my car but only if i do a right hand turn in second and totally stomp on the gas. it bogs so hard that i nearly hit my head on my steering wheel one time heh

yeah thats what mine was doing, now that i filled my tank shes fine and running nicely, i took on a turbo talon last night and ran side by side with him i was surprised

um im not talkin **** and ill let u know the situation....we were cruisin at 55ish and i was in 2nd gear ready to let it go and i knew he was in atleast 4th gear so he would have to shift down and as soon as i heard him drop gears i just got on my car and kept side by side with him...its was a newer talon and it was awd turbo tsi...my cars just got a zc swap with a cam, headers, c.a.i, chipped ecu, and full exhaust also with cam gears....talons aint even all that fast stock at all, but im tellin u i kept side by side with him no problem and we even started with me behind him by a car length i pulled and caught up to him till iw as besdie him then that was it i coudlnt pull nomore, but im thinking i pulledon him that two seconds cuzz i already ahd my car in the gear i wanted ready to go and i knew hed haveto drop down a few....i let off once we hit 130 cuzz it was on a 80km/h rd and i dont like to street race i only did it cuzz this idiot was being a fool and kept tail gating me and instigating me to race, but meh....he probably sjut gott he thing and didnt know how yto drive it but who knows, or maybe he jsut put some tsi turbo badges on it

hey i agree streetracing is bad...but it was on the hwy, we started going at it once we hit the on ramp from islington onto the 401 east cuzz its two lanes that run onto the hwy, so basically no laws were broken except speeding seeing as ocne we hit 130ish i let off....but yea im happy i gave that little fck a run for his money

not bad considering he prolly paid 13grand for his car and i only paid a grand for mine....lol....
