Car died need help

Alright so my '88 civic won't start. The battery is charged, when I turn the key the fuel pump comes on and everything is good but the starter won't engage. It's weird because I had the car going just the other day and went out to start it and nothing. Checked all the fuses and gave the starter a few good cracks but nothing doing.

Can it be the starter thats bad or is their anything else I should look at before I rip the starter out?

Does no one have any help or suggestions as to what it could be?

read the voltage going to the wire that has the 12mm nut on it (it should be battery voltage)

Then check if your soleniod is getting power when your bump the starter.

If both of those check out, replace the starter.
