car cold!

car cold!

my b16a seems to never wanna heat up! every length of trip ive been driving it never leaves the C! and takes like 30-45 mins to go up a quarter? is it just how cold it is?

Follow your rad hose until it reaches you motor, it connects to the housing which looks like a golf ball cut in half. Pull the housing off and remove the thermostat. Like LEITNER said if its stuck open your car won't warm up. Replace the thermostat and the gasket.

If that doesn't help I'm sure someone will post a pic.

Thats the best I could do, if you want more pictures do a search on google images for "honda thermostat"

From the picture you see a top view of the thermostat housing and the tow bolts in the picture are the ones you have to remove and then theres the thermostat and gasket pictured.

BTW watch out for coolant

ya thats prob what it is.. its part of reg maint. so you should replace it if you haven't already
