Car Bogging :(

Ok heres the deal, i went to go drive my car in the morning and i shifted to third at about 2500 rpm and when i went to give it gas it started to bog out and shake. I downshifted to second and it went as normal. Its happend a few times but its only when its cold. The car is a stock 6th gen with 200 000kms. I was thinking along the lines of the cat, but i could be wrong. I changed everything jus a year ago, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, fuel filter. Thanks

it's a misfire under high load. check the ignition system for weak spark - looks like the sprak is getting overwhelmed. high resistance in wires maybe? also, check the gap, maybe the plug gap is too big.

I had the same problem with my 5th gen. Put in factory Honda plugs from the dealer and the problem went away.
