Can't get my car to start!!!
When the ignition is on only the parking brake light is on and the seat belt. And I think all the lights should be on. I try and start the car and get nothing. It makes a noise though as if it is revving but very low. Randomly i hear a humming through the car. I think it is electrical. Can anyone help me?!?!?!

not too sure about whether this has been an ongoing problem, or whether you just walked out to your car and this is what happened
but, i would do the basics first, try to boost it, check function of fuel pump (listen for it when you turn the key to on position), check spark at spark plug end...then proceed from there i guess

boost it with some cables, sounds like your battery when to energizer heaven. if you have a multi meter, check the voltage on the battery before and after you start it. it should read 12-13v before and 13.5-14.5v after. if it is dropping below 12v then your alternator is toast.

i've seen it a couple of times where everything else in the car works and the car runs when "bump" started, but the battery doesn't have enough juice left in it to start the car. And replacing the battery solved the problem.
The starter draws a lot of current from the battery upon start up.
Try jump/bump starting the car and driving to your local Part Source or Canadian Tire and they can do a test on the charging system for free, and it will tell you if its the battery, starter or alternator.
