Canadian Tire : Monroe Brakes
Canadian Tire had this Monroe Brakes on sale, a set of 4 is 59.99+ 25% discount on installation.
it comes to the time where i have to change my brake, anyone had any experience on these Brake? Do you think this is a good deal?

actually yes these brakes are good. they are on my moms van .. i havent had a problem yet.

breaks are better then no break's i need my breaks done on my hatch im only runnin 2 front's

i have the ct premium series or sumthing on my car.. they are actually pretty impressive i had stock before... ( on stock rotors) now upgraded... but i find the stopping power smoother and even better...

dang i might just have to get my breaks changed .. im noticing that its takin more pressure to stop the car .. im assuming my breaks are going ?

As brakes wear out, it shouldn't take more pressure to stop the car. You just have to press the pedal down further before brakes start to kick in.

If the brakes require more pressure, then I'd say you need to flush the fluid and put new fluid. Once it gets very old and mixes with dirt/air/moisture, it will compress more than normal brake fluid should.

ya i think that might be it cause i noticed that my breaks take more pressure to engage .. and i DEFINATELY need my fuild topped up im Due for a check up ...

i dont know about them i work at a crappy tire and i had them on my one hatch and all they did was make awful noises yeah there under warrenty but its a pain to keep going back for them to replace them

the monroe pads are made by a company called Certified. there ok. the best pad i've ever used thats after market have been the Wagner Thermo Quiet pads, and i do beleive Parts Source has a 60k warr on them too. But a brake job is as only good as the person doing them, If your caliper sliders are sticking,seized, or the pads don't sit flat on the rotor they'll wear improperly or wear out faster
