can ractive cone filters be cleaned?

can i clean a ractive cone filter with the k&n cleaner or any other cleaners?

yea, if its the one that looks just like the K&N? I've got it, and cleaned it with the K&N kit... works fine.

if its a heat shield filter I wouldnt bother...I had one nad it was more restrictive after I cleaned it

they are the same design as k&n so they need! to be oiled and cleaned regularly

**** I just looked at my air filter and it was dirty as ****. Can't believe I forgot to look at it all this time. Went to buy me a new one and damn best ten dollars I've spent! Difference is day and night.

$10 only? Where do you get one from? Would Pacific Mall sell them for $10 ?
The last time I went there, they sold them for $40 !!


Is it that much cheaper now?

^^ I have to agree, Im purebread K&N all the way. Sure it cost 80-100$ but whatever Ive cleaned it 6 times now, so thats 6 filterchanges and damn it looks like the day i bought it every time i clean it and i know its filtering eveything!

Where???

Last time I checked at PAC mall, they were going for 30-40 each!!!

anything from ractive is wood, i wouldnt even bother cleaning it
