Can I install coilovers myself? with stock struts
Hey, I got some Skunk2 Coilovers for my 98 Civic Si. I won't have shocks for 4 weeks...Anyways, I wanted to install these coilovers myself now to lower my car. Is is hard to install them MYSELF? one wheel at a time with a car jack?

i know....but i have the coilovers right here in front of me!!! i want them on now :-) If i put the coilovers on...when it comes time to put the struts in, will i have to take the coilovers back off to install the stuts?

like everyone else suggests, do it all at once man It's much less work for you, and to answer your camber question, a drop of 1.5-2.0 inches isn't going to really cause negative camber that's enough to cause dramatic uneven tire wear. You should be fine without a camber kit, but it never hurts to fix the camber.
I've lowered mine 1.75 and 1.5 and I don't have a great deal of negative camber on mine HTH

ok, thanks for the help guys, ill wait and do it all at once.
Man...i was just checking out those camber kits, theyre expensive...but i wont worry about that until i lower my ride and see how bad the camber is...

pssst....shh....hey...go ahead and do it....come on...its sitting right in front of you....think about it.....your car would look soo much better...who cares if you have to do twice the work....come on......look at them...all shiney and clean.....their saying...install me....install me...cant you hear them.....
JUST MESSIN WIT YA! haha dont waste your time like others have said... just have patience it will be all worth it in the end.
also lowering your ride decreases the life of your factory shocks, so you might as well wait till you have some aftermarket shocks, so you can still use your factory spring/shocks in the future.
