WEll right now im in the midst of replacing the ECU cuz the old one was full of oxidization, but im looking at a chipped ECU< the guy doesnt knwo what chip it has though. Right now with my old ECU the exhaust is horrible, but i also hav afew trouble codes and sensors to take care of so thats part of the prob.

HEres wha he told me about the chip

no speed limiter $7600 rev limiter.

You don't know what engine it was tuned for... a chip is really supposed to be custom burned for a specific set of modifications, it's not exactly universal, I mean it'll fit no prob, and it'll run but it could be in a shitty state of tune for the setup you run. Most cheap chips out there (which is what ppl tend to get) are ones that "adjust" for IHE. IMO, it's too questionable, esp considering the guy has no idea what it is, or doesn't wanna tell you what it is... Why not get a stock ECU with 90 warranty from a junkyard?? Like $100-150 bux.
