can the Check Engine light turn off manually?

Exclamation can the Check Engine light turn off manually?

heeh, did something stupid and it pops on...
can it be reset by myself or it has to be done at dealer?

i did a experiment and i guess some of you guys might know what it is, it don't really work after a few drive... so i just plug it back in

what kinda car? you could disconnect the battery depending on the car and reset the ecu. but ive always used a scan tool to clear codes in the comp

yea remove the batery and leave it 4 a coupple of mins then it should go away

tranny won't shift down properly/smoothly when deceleration...
guess it needed that plug to send electricity to the tranny eh? any clue guys? thats mean the auto tranny is a electric powered tranny?

If its a stock radio, make sure you got the security code.
