can the Check Engine light turn off manually?
 
heeh, did something stupid and it pops on...
can it be reset by myself or it has to be done at dealer?

i did a experiment and i guess some of you guys might know what it is, it don't really work after a few drive... so i just plug it back in :banghead:

what kinda car? you could disconnect the battery depending on the car and reset the ecu. but ive always used a scan tool to clear codes in the comp

yea remove the batery and leave it 4 a coupple of mins then it should go away

tranny won't shift down properly/smoothly when deceleration...
guess it needed that plug to send electricity to the tranny eh? any clue guys? thats mean the auto tranny is a electric powered tranny?

Pop the hood, and pull out the "ECU BACK-UP" fuse from the under hood fuse box, wait 60 seconds, and DONE!

Btw; it'll also re-set your radio so you'll loose all your pre-sets.

If its a stock radio, make sure you got the security code.
