can the bushings on my short shifter be adjusted?

when i got the ss installed i got polyurethane bushings...but the shift isnt 100% smooth from any to any gear...hard to explain...but someone told me to adjust my bushings and i never got a chance to ask how...

either way i guess ill have to get under the car where the shifter is right?

I think the problem may just be due to the fact that the bushings are new, and made of a harder material that what you're used to. Mine were the same wasy for the first while, but after you get some mileage on them, they tend to smmoth out a little. It doesn't hurt to check them a second time to be safe. As far as adjustable bushings though, I've never heard of them. As far as I know, you put them in and that's it.

..i thought it was stiff because it was new too...but ive put abou 8000kms on it soooooooo...
