cams and flywheel
ok i was thinking asbout throwing in skunk 2 cams in to my b20b with an sir head. i was quoted 800 bucks for used ones.
Also i was thinking about putting in a 7 pound flywheel but i heard stories of the car jerking all the time because it was so light.
Any adivce of suggestions would be great thanks.

you kept the stock pistons in your b20 right? I'd be scared to run anything more than a stage 1 cam with those stock pistons, the valve releifs are tiny and piston to valve clearance with the bigger vtec valves can become an issue with bigger cams.
I've personally driven a b20vtec EF with a 7lbs flywheel and it was fine. Clutch felt a little strange but i am just use to my hydro tranny w/stock flywheel. Lightened flywheels makes a great difference, but its a lot of work to drop the tranny just to change the flywheel. You should have thought about that before you put the b20vtec into your car, its A LOT easier to change the clutch/pressure plate/flywheel with the engine/tranny out of the car. I mean its not impossible to change with the drivetrain in the car, but its definately 100 times more work compared to having the engine/tranny out. I've pulled too many honda tranny's in my life....lol

i personally wouldn't trust what paul from splitfire says, but thats just b/c if my experiences with him. I know plenty of other people that feel the same way.
These are some pictures of b20b pistons i have in my basement. You tell me if you think the valve releifs are big enough to run an agressive cam.
Another thing, in order to get the most out of aftermarket cams you need to raise the compression. This can be acheived by milling the head, but then your moving the valves even closer to the pistons. You can machine out the valve releifs to make them larger, but that should only be done with the engine disassembled. That or run forged pistons, but they're expensive.
