Camber Kit or bolts and washers?

Ok heres the thing, i have a 98 civic dx and its lowered 2 inches, i been driving like that eating away my tires for half a year now, and its time i get a camber kit since i got new rims and rubber obviosly. Heres my question, do i really need a rear camber kit or can i just use bolts and washers? i heard i can but not if my aligment is totally off. also i dont know if they are as reliable as a camber kit. i found a camber kit for 250 no tax so thats not too bad...but still id rather use washers if i can?

save your money and use washers! i have washers on my car in the rear and it works absolutely fine. just the same as a camber kit and like 1/1000th of the price!

washers can improve your camber by up to 1 degree or so. i wouldnt use too many with the stock bolts though...just in case. you could get a longer bolt to hold more washers but that isnt highly recommended.

also make sure that you get an alignment done. camber isnt the only thing that can eat away at your tires. if you have toe in or out that will cause your tires to wear out in no time.

How about the front? Does anybody in the club have the upper control arm kit on their car?
