cam setting

I am running a b16a with type r cams, a dc sports 4-2-1 header and a skunk2 ecu. I have the cams set at +2 on the intake and -1 on the exhaust, but am finding the power deleivery is too late (7000rpm). Does anyone have any cam settings that they know work well with this ind of setup?

first of all how did you set the degrees up? Did you use those stupid degree measurements on the aftermarket sprokets or did you use loeb centers. If you used the ones on the sprocket, then you should set your loeb centers for your base setting. After that is done then call an engine shop to ask what they may use for what you want. You can move the power all around the rev range.

no two engines will like the same setting... you can't just copy someone elses settings and assume you'll get the same result... this is what a dyno is for.
