hey everyone. would really like to know about cam gears and underdrive pulley kits.

do these help hp wise and torque even a little.

why are they good for the motor why could they be bad???

do you know any sites???

think 25% raise? that's what unorthodox racing cams claim... you will feel the diff in speed for sure! but i don't know the details so i'm not going to say much

underdrive pulley kits reduce parasitic loss from the engine, so more power actually goes to the wheels as opposed to being used up to drive accessories like A/C power steering and alternator. Good overall mod... less strain on engine I guess, but if you have a bad *** system, it's kinda counterproductive, cuz the alternator has less capacity. As for cam gears, single cammers don't gain as much... esp with a stock cam... need dyno tuning to get it right - there are no set prescribed settings for any cam gear.
