if i were to buy a high lift cam, which one should i get and approximately how much would it cost?

once you have i/h/e then get maybe a zex cam they are suppose to be a decetn street cam for the sohc..crower maeks it I think...other than that look into crower..call up leitner and buch the affiliate tehy build mtoors so wthey will have cams..yoru proboby looking at 400-500 for the cam plus 100-200 for teh install...tehn you will need a vafc (vtec adn a/f controller) to dyno adn dial in your fuel curve adn vtec point for this cam.....

before you spend you money on cams do a research.

think and be sure of what you want/need.

upgrades are expensive, so u want to make sure to know what your goals are before spending your money.

i changed my cams 3 times before i was satisfied. i mean heck u mighy decide to change the motor completely.

after market cams will need more gas and some like mine like high compression.

do your research, its the best advise i can give you. you will not be happy with just changing your cams, u will want more power.

as for the controller you can get a used one for $400

jun makes nice cams... i wanna get there stage 3 cam and redo the head on my engine so it will idle rough like a 60's muscle car minus the big v8 under the hood

too many ppl overcam their car. or they get a cam and have no idea how to tune it. if you are one of those ppl, invest time in learning what you're doing before you invest money in a cam.
