Cai

Does anyone know if a 00 GSR CAI will fit in a bubbleback with a 00 GSR motor in it or does it have to be modified?

Ur PM is full :)

For the CAI, generally you use the one that is correct for the chassis, but the integra and Civic share a chassis, so the Integra one *should* work, but I checked out the part numbers and they are all different, so I can't say. I'm pretty sure most hybrids use an Integra GSR CAI, but I can't say for certain. Call AEM tech line to be certain. (310) 484-2322 I just called them, but I think they are still closed (time zone difference).

Ok i'ts empty :)

I was thinking the civic piping may be a bit smaller to fit on a GSR throttle body b/c the circumference of it is bigger than a d15's or 16 but the chassis is different so thats why I was a bit worried about the GSR one not fiting.
Thanx for the number, hopefully they know that GSR motors fit into civics and yes there's quite a few on the road that work :p
Im gonna give them a call after and reply back, thanx for the #

Just talked to tech, they say neither one works off the shelf, both require mods :shrugs: He says by March there should be a hybrid application on the shelves, cuz they have developed the EK hybrid ones and EG hybrid ones.... it's just going into production now. Maybe a gift certificate is in order for this individual.
