Cable into Hydro

What does it take to put a cable tranny into a hydraulic setup?

very little...all you need is the clutch pedal and the assorted brackets to hold the cable....not worth the time or effort IMO cause the cable tranny's arent self-adjusting like their hydro counterparts...you have to manually adjust it...

in the long run, its your choice but I think its better to stay with hydro whenever possible

it doesn't take much but if you planning on doing that then your planning on using a 91 or earlier b16 probably... and its not legal to have an engine older then the car its in...
