Cable Clutch Removal

Anyone know how to take out a cable clutch? I've got a 92 HB
(i know, should be hydraulic) but it's a cable clutch... i've got my engine/tranny out... but i can't seem to figure out how to get the clutch cable out (from the firewall)... any help/links would be appreciated... thanks

i hope your not using the engine that would have originally came iwth that cable tranny cause you get into trouble for doing that....

as for the cable i'm not sure... i've never dealt with them.... hydraulic owns

there's a u-spring clip i believe..
slides into a grooved cut-out in the tranny cable housing..

or there'll be a nut type setup..metal housing that goes thru the firewall and the nut holds it tight

thanks Si... i took out all the panels under the dash and found it... as for the first reply... hydrolic clutches are no fun... feedback is much better on a cable :)
